段落大意： 私立学校条件更好， 而公立学校教育出来的学生素质更加全面。 There have been many discrepancies between the values of a public school as opposed to a private one. Advocates of private schools argue that the education received in one of these facilities is more valuable and rewarding than any other educational institutions. On the other hand, supporters of public schools feel that the students in public schools are better-rounded, both scholastically(学术上) and behaviorally. As a public school graduate, I feel that I have been exposed to all types of diversity and situations that have made me better adapted for the real world.

2 校园暴力

In recent years the face of public schools has changed drastically. Our schools were always intended to be a place where the students could go and learn in a safe and secure environment. Unfortunately for us, times have changed; discipline, safety(安全性) and security(保安措施) in our public schools have all fallen by the wayside. Today, our children are faced with the growing threat of violence and crime in their classrooms. In aspirations of bringing back the essential requirements for education in the classroom， numerous parents, teachers, and school officials have come to the conclusion that requiring school uniforms is a clear-cut step in reversing the downward trend of our schools. The majority feels that school uniforms will help expedite(加速) the effort to guide our schools back in the right direction.
